GHS Strings BOOMERS® Nickel-Plated Roundwound DYNAMITE ALLOY™
From 1964 to now, the GHS Boomers® series has been the flagship set of GHS Strings. Used by musicians in every
genre, the Boomers® have shown to stand up to any playing style. Now known as "The Power String", GHS
Boomers® continue to make their mark on music across the world. The roundwound guitar set is made with Nickel-
Plated steel wrapped tightly around a round core wire. The combination provides the string with its bright
characteristic and long-lasting tone.  Please note: gauges larger than .070 are tapered, to facilitate proper bridge fitment and intonation.

Single Strings DY20 through DY90

The GHS Boomers™ are the wound with the same alloy used in their popular GB-E9 and GB-C6 sets for pedal steel, and in Bob's custom C6th lap steel sets.  They have the rich, warm traditional sound of nickel, and are individually sealed in nitrogen to defeat corrosion on the shelf. (Note: gauges .058 and larger are in paper envelopes, not sealed in nitrogen.)

Cryogenically treated in a computerized system with liquid nitrogen, taking them down to a temperature of minus
300 degrees Fahrenheit, and then gradually restoring them to room temperature. This treatment improves the
dimensional stability of the strings, keeping them in tune, while increasing resistance to corrosion.
