Bobby Lee Signature Series (Custom Designed Sets)

The Bobby Lee Signature Series features string sets based on tunings developed and refined by Steel Guitar Forum founder Bobby Lee during decades of performing, recording, and exploring the possibilities of steel guitar.

These sets reflect the gauges he used on pedal steel, lap steel, console steel, and resonator guitars, and were shared with the steel guitar community through the Steel Guitar Forum.

Produced using trusted string manufacturers such as GHS Strings and SIT Strings, each set follows Bobby Lee’s preferred gauges for the tunings he played and recommended. These brands earned his confidence through years of reliable quality and performance, and we are proud to continue offering them as part of the Steel Guitar Shopper catalog.

Many of these tunings became widely adopted through discussions on the Steel Guitar Forum and continue to be used by players around the world today.
