Description
Cowboy Country Revisited - A Living Room Recording
Scott Gerber, Bobby Lee and Cousin Elmo
In the 1980's, Scott Gerber formed a band named Cowboy Country. For the next five years or so, they mostly played honky-tonks in Sonoma County, California.
In February 2010, the three principal players - Scott, Bobby and Cousin Elmo - got together for a living room jam session. They hadn't played together in over 20 years, but they remembered a lot of the old songs. Pedal steel guitarist Bobby Lee wisely set up a "fly on the wall" microphone in the room and this album is the result.
- Scott Gerber - acoustic guitar, vocals
- Cousin Elmo - electric bass, vocals
- Bobby Lee - 8-string pedal steel, vocals
