John Pearse E9th Pure Nickel Wound Strings – Pedal Steel 10-String Set are designed for the modern E9 pedal steel tuning. This set features "Silvered Steel" plain strings paired with pure nickel wound bass strings for warm tone, smooth feel, and excellent balance across the neck.
This set uses the modern standard gauges favored by many pedal steel players and provides a balanced response across both the treble and bass registers. Players who prefer slightly heavier gauges on the middle strings may wish to try the John Pearse #7110 version.
