GHS Progressives strings are made from a unique Nickel-Iron Alloy using a high-quality core wire and GHS’s special “Filament Grade Alloy” wrap wire. This alloy produces strong magnetic response, excellent sustain, and long string life. Progressives deliver a brighter tone than traditional nickel wound strings while remaining warmer than stainless steel.
