John Pearse long John tone bar

Posted by Michael Obst on 18th Nov 2025

I have tried just about every size and weight tone bar I could find but they just didn't fit my hand. The long John tone bar is just the right weight and length for me. The cryogenic technology gives you a smooth slide with minimal string noise . It works fine for lap steel and pedal steel . It's the only bar I need for playing lap or pedal steel. Worth the extra money compared to other tone bars. I would recommend it for anyone who plays the steel guitar.
