John Pearse C6th Nickel Strings - Hawaiian Lap Steel 6-String Set (15-34) - #7380
- MPN:

Description
John Pearse C6th Nickel Strings – Hawaiian Lap Steel 6-String Set are built for the classic C6 tuning, one of the most popular tunings for lap steel because it makes both major and minor harmony easy to access. In older instructional material, this tuning is sometimes referred to as Am7.
This set features John Pearse’s signature heavier plain G (.024), which helps balance tone and tension across common chord grips. Some players also raise the low C to C# to add a 7th flavor to the tuning.
C6 Tuning
E–C–A–G–E–C (high → low)
Optional variation: tune the low C up to C# for a 7th sound.
